COLONY TERRAIN PRODUCTION KICKSTARTER
To Jonah, Jake (both of you), Emily, Rowan, David, Nick (also both of you), Graves, Devon, Zach, Ashe, Justin, Patrick, Steven, Falco, Mike, Amber, Orion, and the rest of my friends from Florida Polytechnic, for being my first community and helping me grow in and out of the gaming sphere.
To Jerried and Chandler, for showing me Infinity and what the miniature gaming community is all about.
To David and Hunter, for pushing my in-game skill and putting up with the styrofoam, cardboard, and balsa wood.
To Tony, James and JR, for being incredible warcors and showing me what it means to run a community.
To Tampa, Orlando, Ocala, and the rest of the Florida metagame, for being excellent people and opponents.
To Chad and Kyle, two out-of-state community leaders whom I had just met and encouraged me to chase down Koni and become a warcor.
To Shannon and Matthew, for being my first players in Alabama and absolutely diving in (schedules permitting).
To Michael, for being an instant friend and colleague, aggressively pushing for and advising my work and bullying me into letting him be my first backer.
To my dad, for doing everything he can to make sure I made it through undergrad with a degree that mattered and making sure I could set myself up for my future.
To my mom, for finding a way to bury a creative spark somewhere in me and teaching me about critical thinking, in and out of my career.
Save the best for last.
For putting up with my hare-brained scheme. And all of the burnt wood soot. And small 3mm bits of wood left around the house. And all of the paint and chemicals and little toy soldiers.
For encouraging me to send it. And not ever discounting my ideas. And pushing me to learn knew skills.
For being the best, and incredible, and every and any word that describes the same.
For being the reason I applied to Auburn and we packed everything up and journeyed to an entirely new state with the future on our minds.
For showing me that reality is possible in a way that younger me would never thought it would ever be.
Thank you.
